| 3D models are built from lots of triangles which have colours or textures "painted " on them to make them look lifelike. There are lots of 3d models you can download that look good, but most of these have many 1,000s of triangles so more time is needed to display them - a big disadvantage if your 3d program is web based so it has to download the file AND display it (like Blink 3D).
| | What's so special about our models ? | | We are designing a range of accurate 3d models which look very realistic, but have very few triangles. These are in Ogre mesh format so you can load then straight into Blink 3d. They are also in lots of other formats so you can load them into your 3d modelling packages (e.g. Milkshape, Blender etc.) and customise them to suit. Obviously this work takes us a fair bit of time so we are making a nominal charge for each model which you can download from around only $1.00.
